Alsager is a growth town, and the housing figures show it. Recent parish reporting put more than two thousand dwellings with planning permission around the town, and the big redevelopment sites, the former Manchester Metropolitan campus, Twyfords and Cardway, and White Moss Quarry, are turning old institutional and industrial land into new homes.
